La Nuit des Temps by René Barjavel was originally a screenplay intended for a science fiction film. Unfortunately, the film was never produced, leaving Barjavel with an unused script that he decided to adapt into a novel, published in 1968.

This project aims to imagine what could not be achieved at the time by developing the visual universe of the book for a cinematic adaptation. This universe is presented in the form of a concept art book featuring sketches and illustrations of sets, characters, and atmospheres.
